What is a Birthday Cake Blind Box?
You choose your sponge flavour, filling, and collection date. Everything else is up to me! The cake will be a complete surprise for you when you open the box.
It’s the perfect option if you’re looking for a unique birthday cake but you're not picky about the design. And the best part is they're £20 cheaper than their usual price!

What's Included
Your Blind Box includes:

One 6″ two-layer custom cake, baked and decorated to Alyssa’s Bakery’s usual standard

Full creative control by Alyssa’s Bakery; the theme, style, and design are chosen by me

Your chosen sponge and buttercream flavour
Creative Control
By booking a Blind Box slot, you agree that I have full and sole creative control over the design of your cake. This includes (but is not limited to) the colour palette, decorating style, theme, and any decorative elements used.
No design previews, mood boards, or theme requests will be shared or accepted. The surprise is part of the experience! You may specify:

Sponge flavour (from: vanilla, chocolate, brown sugar, cookies and cream)

Buttercream flavour for the filling (e.g. vanilla, chocolate, Biscoff, cookies and cream)
You may not request or specify any element of the cake’s appearance. Requests to change the design after the cake has been made will not be accepted. All cakes are non-refundable.
Pricing & Payment

£40 per cake - £20 off the usual price of £60

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your slot

Payment confirms your acceptance of this agreement in full
Cancellations & Refunds

Slots are non-refundable once payment has been made, as your slot will have been reserved and planning will have begun

If you need to reschedule your collection date, please contact me as soon as possible and I will do my best to accommodate you, subject to availability

Alyssa’s Bakery reserves the right to cancel a booking in exceptional circumstances such as severe illness, in which case a full refund will be issued
Photo Requirements
In exchange for the discounted price, you agree to provide Alyssa’s Bakery with a minimum of 3 high-quality photographs and 1 unboxing video of your cake within 48 hours of receiving it.
Photographs must meet the following standard:

Clear, well-lit, and in focus. Natural light is ideal

The cake should be the main subject of the photograph

Clean, uncluttered background preferred

A minimum of 3 separate photos must be submitted (e.g. different angles or settings)
The unboxing video must meet the following standard:

Must capture the moment the cake box is opened / the first reveal of the cake (e.g. someone bringing the out to the recipient)

Minimum 10 seconds in length, maximum 30 seconds
-
Clear and in focus, with good/natural lighting preferred
All content should be sent directly to Alyssa’s Bakery via WhatsApp or email within 48 hours of the cake being received or collected.
Failure to provide satisfactory photographs and/or the unboxing video within the agreed timeframe will result in an invoice for £20 being issued to recover the discount applied to your order.
Cancellations & Refunds
By completing your payment and confirming your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this agreement as well as my general terms and conditions.
